One of my favorite things about doing photography is getting to work with a baby. It gives me a baby fix and I love helping capture the little ones as they are for their parents. This little beauty came to me at 5 days old and again here at 2 weeks. She is so alert and strong for her age! Enjoy!

I just really wanted to share this little cutie! She is two months old and such a sweetheart! She lives far away, but I hope to be able to take her pictures again someday!

Photography Workshop in Kalispell Montana!

So many of you send me emails asking for a class, workshop or to come along on shoots that I want to be able to share my knowledge behind the camera and computer with you! Just Shoot It! Photography Workshop

After attending the Rocky Mountain School of Photography and working as a professional photographer for over 13 years I have frequently had clients, colleges, friends and family express frustration with their cameras and the pictures they take. I am happy to announce that I am now offering photography workshops as a new venture in my photography business!
This workshop is for anyone wanting to advance their photography skills with a full day of learning with hands on training! This class is designed to teach you to take your camera off of program/auto and have fun doing it! We start with the fundamentals and technical stuff. We will have a wonderful catered lunch, then head out to go on location with a model to try out everything we learned. The last couple of hours will be back at the studio for review, critiquing and post processing of our pictures. A Q&A and feedback session will wrap up our day!

Digital Fundamentals-This Workshop builds a strong foundation of digital photography knowledge

Learn about all the necessary digital photography techniques and terms, from scene modes, manual modes, ISO and depth of field, and everything in-between
Learn how the fundamental settings affect the shot you want to get
Explore composition and posing
Different shooting styles from landscape to macro
Get familiar with a basic digital workflow
Learn some editing tricks
Review and critique of your pictures from the assignment
Q & A session

What you need to bring:

· Notebook and pen

· Digital camera (must have “m” or a manual mode)

· Your camera’s manual

· Memory card

· Card reader or cable for your camera

Refunds and Cancellation

Student initiated cancellations will receive a 50% refund for notice received at least 2 weeks immediately prior to the workshop. No refund will be given if cancelled less than 2 weeks prior to the workshop. Refunds will normally be processed within 30 days but can sometimes take up to 60 days.

What a wonderful surprise it was to find out the engagement session I was going to do was of an old classmate! I had so much fun with him and his beautiful fiance! You can just see the love they have for each other! What a cute couple! We even managed to get a couple with their dogs! Poor things were confused because we kept telling them to come and sit and then go and play! Thanks Gina and Jeff for a fun time! I honestly don't think I've ever met a nicer, more in love couple! The way Josh looks at his beautiful bride melts your heart! I cried as I took pictures of them seeing each other for the first time and so did my assistant! They made my job easy! They were so lovey and sweet that it was easy to just stand back and take pictures of them being themselves. Truly the nicest two people from the nicest families ever! They make you want to be apart of their families! I loved meeting these two and had so much fun at their wedding! I can only hope one day that my children find the love of their life like these to so obviously have! Enjoy!

I couldn't believe how relaxed this bride was! From the moment I got to her house to get a few shots of the girls getting ready, to her walking down the aisle she was so calm and happy. The love these two have for each other is so evident in the way they look at each other! During the ceremony I kept catching each of them stealing little glances at the other one and smiling. It brought tears to my eyes to see two people so in love and meant for each other. Here is a little preview of their wedding day. Enjoy!

Two super busy one year olds, a three year old brother with the coolest hair ever, and two loving parents....one big happy family! I had so much fun with these guys! The twins are pretty hard to tell apart which made editing a little difficult when they had on the same clothes, but I think we captured a few cute ones of each of them! And oh my gosh! Does big brother not have a face made for a magazine cover?! I LOVE his hair! I took these pictures the day before this family headed across country to start a new adventure in their lives and I hope these will remind them a little of Montana! Enjoy!

So the other day I did a quick mini-session for one of my best friends. She has three kids all about the same age as my three and she wanted some new pics for her mom and mother-in-law. I just LOVE her kids! All their names start with the same three first letters so it's really hard to get ones attention for the picture when I kept calling the wrong name! So I had the privilege to take pictures of a good friend's little ones the other day! Little Miss K is a little over two and just the most polite and cutest thing ever! Unfortunately she was sick and so we didn't get but a couple shots of her. She kept saying, "No thank you" which was SO sweet! Her new little brother, Mr. P, who is 8 weeks old was a charmer! He was such a good little boy but didn't want any hats on! As soon as I would put one on him he would squirm and fuss and as soon as I would take it off he would sigh and relax! I hope to be able to do another shoot this summer when they are here visiting so we can get some more of little Miss K. Enjoy!

My niece Haley is staying a couple days with us and I talked her into going outside for a quick 10 minute photo shoot! She was a little reluctant but I think it was well worth talking her into!
